Marco Piva, graduated at the Polytechnic of Milan, founded the Studiodada Associati, one of the best known design offices of the Radical period. Since 1976 he has been working in Italy and abroad on architectural, interior and industrial design projects. The activities range from large scale planning for the development of tourist terminals to designing interiors, generating specific products for public areas. The Studio develops projects regarding hotels, tourist villages, congress centres, meeting halls, exhibition galleries, theme exhibitions and urban sceneries. Assiduous research into receptive structures, formal and functional characteristics of spaces, technology and materials, developed with care for the environment, represent the basic elements of the Studio’s planning and design philosophy.
